United Staff Group is dedicated to providing quality education to special needs children. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team of professionals near Laveen, AZ. We offer competitive compensation and a flexible payment schedule.

Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in school psychology.
  • Current AZ School Psychology Certification.
  • Valid Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities:

  • Child Find Duties:
  • Utilize appropriate practices for effective Child Find responsibilities.
  • Program Collaboration:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of district programs and contribute to Individualized Education Program teams.
  • Determine optimal educational placements and support for students’ academic and behavioral needs.
  • School-Wide Initiatives:
  • Advocate for and implement school-wide programs to maintain positive school climates.
  • Address psychological, educational, and sociological needs of students.
  • Classroom Atmosphere Enhancement:
  • Consult with teachers for methods to enhance motivating educational environments.
  • Home-School Collaboration:
  • Facilitate referrals to community agencies for medical or social services for students and families.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance:
  • Maintain confidential files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district policies.
  • Reporting and Data Interpretation:
  • Prepare timely reports summarizing findings, interpreting data, and offering recommendations.
  • Assist teachers in interpreting and utilizing assessment data for effective program planning.
  • Crisis Response Team:
  • Provide social, emotional, and behavioral health support to students and personnel.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Conduct re-evaluations and perform other assigned job-related duties.

Salary:

  • $55.63 – $66.54 per hour
