About the Position:
United Staff Group is looking for a dedicated and passionate ESL Teacher to work with high school students at our Pottstown, PA location. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching English as a Second Language and be committed to helping students develop language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

You will support a caseload of 32 students, 15 of whom require specialized support. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic success and language acquisition journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to English language learners
• Provide instruction in English language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
• Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure that students are meeting academic standards
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Maintain records of student performance and growth
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in ESL, TESOL, or a related field
• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification
• Experience working with high school students in an ESL setting is preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families
• Commitment to student growth and academic achievement
