No, when you apply for one of our jobs, you’re not making any commitments. You’re simply opening the door to connect with a hiring manager at United staff group. We understand the nature of your work as an education professional and know how important it is to have your next steps lined up. Typically, we begin looking for your next school-based placement six to eight weeks before you end your current one.
A phone or video call interview is a lot like an in-person interview. It’s an opportunity for both you and the district hiring coordinator to get to know each other better and decide if the job is the right fit for you. The district administrator or hiring coordinator will talk about the policies and expectations and answer any questions that you might have. Since you have already discussed your compensation and benefits with your hiring manager, you don't have to worry about those topics during this interview. This time is for you to ask any questions you have so you feel comfortable making a decision on the job offer that may be coming your way after the interview.
Once you accept a school job with United staff group, we will begin the necessary onboarding steps to get you ready for your assignment. Often this can include licensure verification, fingerprinting, and background checks. We require that all documentation and steps be completed before work begins. If you have questions about your school-based position, please contact your hiring manager.
