Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher for a K-8 caseload in Sacramento, CA. This role will focus on supporting and delivering individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs. You will manage a caseload of 28 students, ensuring compliance with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to the individual needs of students.
• Provide instruction and support in both inclusion and self-contained classroom settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students’ needs are met.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Create a supportive and positive learning environment for students with disabilities.

Qualifications:

• Valid California teaching credential in Special Education (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe).
• Experience working with K-8 students in a special education setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 28 students effectively while meeting all compliance requirements.
